Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how TrendsDB.com products, including the PhotoVibe mobile app, handle information.
Who we are
TrendsDB.com publishes mobile apps and digital products, including PhotoVibe, and provides this official website for support, privacy, terms, and data requests. You can contact us at support@trendsdb.com.
Information we may collect
Depending on the app and features you use, our apps may process information you provide directly, device or app diagnostics, usage events, crash logs, and support messages. If a specific app offers account features, subscriptions, cloud sync, analytics, or notifications, the app may process the information needed to provide those features.
How we use information
We use information to operate and improve our apps, provide support, troubleshoot bugs, protect users, comply with legal obligations, and communicate about service-related matters.
Third-party services
Our apps may use platform services and third-party providers such as Apple, Google, Firebase, Firebase Analytics, Google advertising services, Meta/Facebook advertising SDKs, analytics, crash reporting, payment, hosting, AI providers, or notification providers. These providers may process identifiers, device information, usage events, purchase context, advertising signals, diagnostics, and other data needed for the enabled services according to their own policies.
Artificial intelligence processing
PhotoVibe offers AI-powered photo filters that process your photos using third-party artificial intelligence services. When you choose to use an AI filter, the photo you select is transmitted over an encrypted connection to our servers and forwarded to the following third-party AI service providers to generate the requested result: • Google LLC — Google Gemini API (https://ai.google.dev/terms) • OpenAI OpCo, LLC — ChatGPT / OpenAI API (https://openai.com/policies/api-data-usage-policies) What data is sent: only the photo you explicitly select for processing. No other personal data, account identifiers, or device information is included in the image submission. Purpose: solely to generate the AI filter or style effect you requested. Your photo is not used by these providers to train their models beyond what their standard API terms permit, and it is not retained by them after the response is returned. Data protection: both Google and OpenAI act as data processors under agreements that require a level of data protection equivalent to our own obligations. Transfers are subject to appropriate legal safeguards including Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable. Consent: you will be asked for your explicit consent before your photo is sent to these AI services for the first time. You may decline; if you do, the AI filter feature will not be available, but all on-device features will continue to work normally. More generally, other features in our apps may also send content, prompts, or metadata to AI service providers for generation, analysis, or moderation purposes as disclosed at the time those features are used.
Face data processing
PhotoVibe may process photos containing a user's face when you voluntarily upload an image to use AI-powered filters or portrait effects. What face data is collected: • Facial appearance contained in the photo selected by the user • Face positioning, lighting, orientation, and visual characteristics necessary to generate the requested AI effect Purpose of processing: Face data is used solely to generate the AI-enhanced image requested by the user. Face data is not used for identity recognition, identity verification, behavioral tracking, advertising, profiling, or law enforcement purposes. Third-party processing: Selected images may be securely transmitted to third-party AI providers including Google Gemini API and OpenAI API for temporary processing. Storage and retention: PhotoVibe does not permanently store uploaded source photos or generated face data on its servers. Images are processed temporarily in memory for the duration required to generate the requested result and are then deleted from our systems. Generated images are stored only on the user's device unless the user chooses to save or share them. User consent: Before any photo containing face data is sent to AI services, the user is informed and asked for explicit consent inside the app.
Firebase and cloud storage
We may store app data, account data, support data, analytics, diagnostics, crash logs, configuration, and feature-related records in Firebase and related Google cloud services. Firebase may process and store this information on servers operated by Google or its infrastructure providers, subject to the settings and services used by the relevant app.
Firebase Analytics and measurement
Our apps may use Firebase Analytics or similar measurement tools to understand app usage, feature performance, subscription or credit flows, crashes, device characteristics, region, language, and general engagement. Analytics data helps us improve PhotoVibe and other TrendsDB products, troubleshoot issues, measure marketing performance, and understand which features are useful. Where available, you can limit tracking through your device settings or platform privacy controls.
Advertising and ad-supported features
Some TrendsDB apps may display advertisements or use advertising identifiers to measure ad delivery, frequency, performance, attribution, fraud prevention, and relevance. Advertising partners may receive or process device identifiers, IP-derived approximate location, app activity, ad interactions, diagnostic information, and consent or privacy status. Ads may be personalized or non-personalized depending on your consent, region, platform settings, and the configuration of the relevant app.
Meta/Facebook advertising SDK
Our apps may include Meta/Facebook advertising or app event SDKs to measure installs, campaign performance, purchases, subscriptions, credit purchases, app events, and ad effectiveness. Meta may process device information, advertising identifiers, app events, purchase context, and similar signals according to Meta policies and your platform privacy settings. We use these tools to understand marketing performance and improve the app experience, not to sell your uploaded images.
Sensitive information
Please do not submit unnecessary sensitive personal information, confidential documents, payment card details, passwords, health information, government identifiers, or content you do not have the right to upload. If an app specifically requires sensitive information for a feature, we will use it only for the disclosed purpose.
Security and safeguards
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect user data, including platform security controls, access limitations, and secure transport where supported. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so users should also avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive information.
International processing
Because we use cloud, app store, Firebase, and AI service providers, information may be processed or stored in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, we rely on appropriate legal mechanisms and provider safeguards for these transfers.
Children's privacy
Our apps are not directed to children under 13 unless a specific app store listing states otherwise. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will review the request.
Data retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required for legal, security, accounting, or dispute resolution reasons.
Your choices and requests
You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information by emailing support@trendsdb.com. You can also review our data deletion page.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy as apps and services change. The latest version will be posted on this page.
